Ideal Qualifications and Skills
Candidates applying for this role should hold a B.Com Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, HR, Training, or Development. Alternatively, a National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or Learning & Development will be highly advantageous. Prior experience in Learning and Development administration—even as little as one year—will give candidates a valuable edge.
Additionally, Siemens is looking for someone with:
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or Training Management Systems (TMS).
- Strong reporting and data handling capabilities.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks, maintain records accurately, and solve problems independently.
While not mandatory, certifications such as Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) or a Facilitator Certification from ETDP SETA will be considered a bonus.
