Minimum Requirements
- Education:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics
- NQF Level 4 in the following subjects:
- Mathematics / Technical Mathematics (not Mathematics Literacy)
- Physical Science / Technical Science
- N3 Diesel Trade Theory and/or N3 Mechanotechnology
- Engineering Graphic and Design
- Residency: Must reside in Mogalakwena or surrounding areas
- Employment Status: Currently unemployed
Job Responsibilities
- Training:
- Learn and observe technical skills and processes under the guidance of experienced staff
- Demonstrate skills and processes independently or in a team
- Apprentice Modules:
- Complete prescribed modules as per merSETA
- Gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills
- Safety & Maintenance:
- Understand and adhere to workplace health and safety standards
- Maintain and repair workshop equipment
- Keep a logbook of projects and skills learned
- Workplace Conduct:
- Ensure general good housekeeping
- Maintain a professional appearance and behavior
- Perform other duties as required
