    Responsibilities

    Your duties as a Junior Payroll Accountant will include, but are not limited to:

    • Reconcile Payroll Accounts: Assist in reconciling payroll accounts with the general ledger, ensuring all payroll-related transactions are accurately recorded.
    • Payroll Processing: Work closely with the payroll team to ensure accurate payroll processing, including the calculation of wages, bonuses, deductions, and taxes.
    • Audit Support: Participate in internal and external audits by providing necessary payroll accounting documentation and explanations.
    • Employee Inquiries: Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees, providing clear and accurate information regarding payroll accounting matters.

    Requirements

    • Educational Background: BCom Degree in Finance or currently working towards one.
    • Work Experience: 1-2 years of previous experience in payroll accounting, finance, or general accounting.
