    Job Description

    The Junior IT Helpdesk Technician will be responsible for delivering day-to-day technical support to internal users across the Hollywood Group. You will serve as the first point of contact for technical queries and provide critical remote desktop support for Windows applications, including VoIP, network issues, and user administration.     Key Responsibilities

    As a Junior IT Helpdesk Technician, you will be expected to:

    1. Provide Technical Support
      • Offer Level 1 technical support for IT Helpdesk services.
      • Resolve user queries and issues via an ITSM ticketing system.
      • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including MS operating systems, Office 365, network faults, and VPN connections.
      • Provide remote support to clients across multiple regions.
    2. Administration Tasks
      • Act as the initial point of contact with customers, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
      • Log and update tickets in the ITSM system.
      • Maintain an accurate record of support tickets and incidents.
    3. Customer-Centric Approach
      • Provide feedback to customers on the status of unresolved queries.
      • Ensure compliance with privacy policies and protect user data.
    4. Collaboration and Teamwork
      • Work closely with other IT professionals to resolve issues and find solutions.
      • Participate constructively as a member of the IT team and undertake tasks as required.
    5. Monitor Branch Connectivity

    Qualifications & Experience

    BET Software is looking for candidates with the following qualifications and experience:

    • Education: A Matric qualification and a relevant information technology qualification are required.
    • Experience: At least one year of experience in an IT Helpdesk environment is preferred.
    • Certifications:
      • A+ or N+ certification is advantageous.
      • ITIL Foundation certification is an advantage but not a requirement.
