Junior IT Developer Job Description
The Junior IT Developer will play a pivotal role in designing, coding, and implementing computer programs tailored to INSETA’s data processing needs. Responsibilities include analyzing and modifying existing systems, enhancing operations, and creating detailed documentation for maintenance and user support. Additionally, you will test and debug systems to ensure optimal accuracy and reliability while training users on their proper operation.

Required Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications
- Minimum: Grade 12 or equivalent and an NQF Level 6 qualification in MIS, CIS, Computer Science, Data Science, Informatics, or Business Analytics.
- Preferred: NQF Level 7 qualification in the above fields.
Experience
- At least 3 years in a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, XML, JavaScript, SQL, CSS/HTML, etc.
- Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and web servers (Apache).
- Familiarity with UI/UX design and Linux.
- Certified Odoo Developer (an added advantage).
