Job Description
Multiform Human Development (Pty) Ltd., a leading cosmetic manufacturing company, is looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to work in a fast-paced and innovative environment. This full-time, permanent position offers an annual salary between R180 000 to R216 000. Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Graphic Designer at Multiform Human Development, your main responsibilities will revolve around transforming design concepts into precise, high-quality, print-ready artwork. Your creativity and attention to detail will play a significant role in ensuring that the designs align with brand identity, packaging guidelines, and current market trends.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Design Translation: You will be responsible for translating initial design concepts into accurate, high-quality print-ready artwork, making sure everything is technically precise and ready for production.
- Dielines and Packaging Layouts: A key part of the role involves creating dielines for secondary packaging and assisting in adapting concept designs to fit those dielines.
- Brand Consistency: You’ll work to ensure that all designs align with the brand’s identity and adhere to strict brand and packaging guidelines.
- Collaboration: You’ll collaborate closely with production teams and account managers to maintain visual and technical consistency across all materials.
- Trend Application: Staying on top of current beauty and design trends is vital to creating relevant and appealing visuals for consumers.
- Quality Control: You’ll be expected to double-check all artwork for accuracy, ensuring that spelling, placement, and print specifications are spot-on.

Minimum Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Education: A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Experience: At least two years’ experience in a similar role within the cosmetic or retail sector. Internships or freelance work will also be considered.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Experience working with dielines and packaging layouts.
- Basic understanding of printing techniques and materials used in packaging and labeling.
Desirable Skills
While not mandatory, the following skills and experience would be advantageous:
- Experience in the cosmetic, skincare, or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sectors.
