    Role Overview: Brand Ambassador – Cape Town Campus

    Rosebank College is looking for enthusiastic and proactive Brand Ambassadors to support the campus in promoting their student registration cycle. As a Brand Ambassador, you will be the face of the college, engaging directly with prospective students, providing information on academic programs, and assisting them through the initial registration process. This role is ideal for those with strong communication skills, a passion for education, and a customer-oriented mindset.

    Key Responsibilities

    As a Brand Ambassador, you’ll take on a range of engaging and hands-on responsibilities, including:

    1. Outdoor Activations

    • Flyer Distribution: Hand out flyers to prospective students in allocated areas, ensuring awareness about the college’s offerings.
    • Setup and Coordination: Prepare and set up gazebos for various promotional events and handle distribution materials.
    • Public Interaction: Engage with prospective students at activation sites, answering their questions and directing them to campus if they wish to enroll.
    • Data Collection: Keep a register of prospective students based on inquiries and forward it to the campus for follow-up.
    • Mall Activations and Exhibitions: Set up and manage campus marketing activities in malls or during local exhibitions.

    2. Administration Tasks

    • Document Management: Scan, photocopy, and upload student registration documentation to the system.
    • Payment Processing: Manage and process payments during the student registration cycle.
    • Module Loading: Upload and manage student modules in the system as needed.

    3. Student Liaison and Orientation

    • Student Interaction: Schedule appointments for prospective students to visit the campus and assist them during their visit.
    • Application Assistance: Guide prospective students through the application process, including payments and inquiries.
    • Campus Tours and Orientation: Direct new students to their orientation sessions, answer questions, and help with their initial campus visit.

    Minimum Requirements

    To qualify for the Brand Ambassador role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

    • NQF Level 4 Qualification – a National Senior Certificate is required.
    • Additional Qualifications – An NQF Level 5/6 qualification and a valid driver’s license will be an added advantage.
    • Experience – No previous experience is required, although one year of relevant experience is beneficial.

    Successful candidates should possess:

    • Understanding of South African Education Framework: Knowledge of South Africa’s higher education system and regulatory requirements is beneficial.
    • Time Management and Attention to Detail: Effectively managing time and ensuring attention to detail is essential for success in this role.
    • Customer Service Orientation: The ability to provide excellent service to prospective students.
    • Adaptability: Able to cope with change and work well under pressure, meeting deadlines effectively.
    • Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication, both in person and over the phone, is critical.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with in-house systems and payment processing.
