A Deep Dive into the Programme

Dedicated to excellence, Indwe Risk Services is on the lookout for spirited interns and learners who are ready to dive deep into the nuances of our establishment across diverse departments. Recognized as an accredited training provider, we promise a comprehensive year-long training regime and practical workplace learning for the chosen interns and learners. Our programme meticulously prepares each participant for future endeavors in the Short-Term insurance industry, imparting them with an intimate understanding of the ins and outs of brokerage operations.

Our earnest venture into launching the internship/learnership initiative stems from a noticeable void of young professionals in the Short-Term insurance domain. Further, it substantiates our commitment to fostering growth and infusing our strategies with fresh and innovative perspectives.

The curriculum of our programme is rooted in unit-standard Short-Term qualifications, facilitating both formative and summative assessments. On successful completion, our esteemed interns and learners will be celebrated as “fit and proper”, having amassed valuable workplace experience and meeting the mandated 150 credits in alignment with the FAIS Act (Act 37 of 2002) prerequisites.

Over twelve transformative months, participants will undergo rigorous theoretical training spanning across product knowledge, pertinent legislation, and sharpening business acumen. This holistic approach also includes tasks, case studies derived from media articles, research undertakings, presentations, and the development of portfolios geared towards achieving FAIS-related credits.

Mark your calendars! The 2024 learnership/internship journey will commence on 01 February 2024 and end on 31 January 2025.
