Qualifications Required
- Fluent in English
- High School diploma.
- At least 1 year of experience in the tourism industry or customer-facing roles.
- Cruise industry experience is a big plus
- Skills in complaint management and sales techniques
- Computer savvy; familiarity with Publisher and Fidelio is a bonus
- Mandatory STCW95 training (basic fire fighting, personal survival techniques, elementary first aid, personal security, and social responsibility)
- A recognized medical certification is required before boarding.

It is essential to note that to join a vessel as a seafarer, International Maritime Law requires candidates to obtain certain STCW 2010 certifications and Seafarer Medicals that can cost up to fifteen thousand rands.
