Key Responsibilities
As an Inventory Clerk, you’ll play a critical role in managing all finished goods (FG) inventory within the logistics supply chain. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring product quality, inventory accuracy, and adherence to governance processes.
1. FG Quality Management
- Maintain adherence to quality standards (DPO & VPO requirements).
- Accurately block FG inventory in SAP and ensure physical blocking for obsolescence or quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with the freshness and rotation policy.
- Conduct accurate inventory counts, clearly displaying SKU & bin card quantities.
- Repack salvaged FG inventory and decant obsolete stock following company procedures.
2. Inventory Management
- Conduct independent inventory counts and reconcile results with SAP records.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, escalating unresolved issues with action plans.
- Process all physical inventory movements in SAP, including T1 & T2 transactions and packaging receipts.
- Ensure accurate processing of write-offs, breakages, and claims.
- Review and resolve daily control issues, including shipment discrepancies.
3. Governance and Risk Management
- Ensure proper documentation is signed off, securely stored, and accessible as per policy.
- Perform random security checks and ensure cameras are functional at key points.
- Conduct 3-point independent checks on all T1 and T2 shipments for verification.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this position, you’ll need the following:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields: Finance, Engineering, Commercial, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Sciences.
- 2–3 years’ experience in stock control or inventory management.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of stock control processes.
