    Salary: R255 450 to R300 912 per annum (Level 6)

    • Gauteng: Soweto (2 Posts)
    • KwaZulu-Natal: Ethekwini (2 Posts)
    • Limpopo: Polokwane (2 Posts)
    • Mpumalanga: Emalahleni (1 Post)
    • Northern Cape: Kimberley (1 Post)
    • Western Cape: Cape Town (2 Posts)
    • Head Office: Pretoria (1 Post)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct immigration processes in line with the Immigration Act No. 13 of 2002.
    • Investigate and monitor illegal immigration and collaborate with law enforcement agencies.
    • Assist with the deportation process of foreign nationals who do not meet legal requirements.
    • Monitor the flow of foreign nationals and ensure compliance with South Africa’s immigration policies.

    Required Qualifications:

    • A qualification in Law, Public Management, Public Administration, Policing, Criminology, or Criminal Justice at NQF Level 6 (SAQA recognized).
    • 2 years of experience in law enforcement or related fields.
    • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    2. Control Immigration Officer: Inspectorate

    Number of Positions: 10
    Salary: R376 413 to R443 403 per annum (Level 8)
    Location: Available across various provinces, including:

    • Eastern Cape: East London (1 Post)
    • Free State: Kroonstad (1 Post)
    • Gauteng: Soweto (1 Post)
    • KwaZulu-Natal: Ethekwini (1 Post)
    • Limpopo: Polokwane (1 Post)
    • Mpumalanga: Emalahleni (1 Post)
    • Northern Cape: Brits (1 Post)
    • Western Cape: Cape Town (1 Post)
    • Head Office: Pretoria (1 Post)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the effective enforcement of Immigration laws and manage immigration operations.
    • Assist with investigations into the smuggling of migrants and the trafficking of people.
    • Ensure border security and monitor the process of deporting foreign nationals.
    • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies to maintain national security.
    • Provide detailed reports on immigration cases and ensure the smooth operation of all immigration activities.

    Required Qualifications:

    • A qualification in Law, Public Management, Public Administration, Policing, Criminology, or Criminal Justice at NQF Level 6 (SAQA recognized).
    • 2 years of experience in a law enforcement environment.
    • Ability to manage complex immigration processes and strong analytical skills.
