    ICT Support Specialist Opportunity at Rosebank College

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Desktop Support
      • Respond to and prioritize user requests for assistance with various services.
      • Track and manage calls through the incident and problem management database.
      • Troubleshoot and resolve routine issues; escalate complex problems to the Senior ICT Support.
    • Software and Hardware Installation
      • Install and configure desktop and laptop computers with authorized software.
      • Set up and support hardware and peripherals like monitors, keyboards, and printers.
      • Assist with setting up and maintaining equipment for campus events and training sessions.
      • Regularly test and maintain video conferencing and IT equipment.
    • Administrative Functions
      • Coordinate with service providers for IT equipment repairs and maintenance.
      • Manage hardware and software asset registers, including asset disposal.
      • Oversee software licensing and maintain the IT storeroom, server room, and office space.
      • Provide training and orientation for staff on hardware and software usage.

    Required Competencies:

    Qualifications:

    • Education:

    • Experience:
      • Completed Internship or 6+ months of relevant on-the-job experience
