Key Responsibilities
The ICT interns will support the organization by providing technical assistance through a centralized helpdesk service. Their primary focus will be on the Learner Management System (LMS) and the preparation of shared services for MICT SETA. This internship provides a structured learning environment that enhances technical expertise while also developing problem-solving and communication skills.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this highly competitive internship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Education:
- Matric / Grade 12 (compulsory).
- NQF Level 6 – 10 qualification in Information Technology with a focus on Software/System Development, Design, or related programming fields.
Technical & Soft Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams).
- Understanding of legislation governing SETAs.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be unemployed and actively seeking an internship.
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Age requirement: 35 years or younger.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours and possibly overtime to meet operational demands.
