Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates must possess a recognized qualification in one of the following fields:

• Graphic Design
• Data Visualisation
• Multimedia
• Fine Arts
• Or an equivalent qualification at NQF Level 5

Minimum Experience:

A minimum of one year of professional experience in graphic design within a communications environment is required. Applicants should demonstrate their skills through a comprehensive portfolio that showcases their ability to meet high design standards.

Experience with the following design software is essential:

• Adobe InDesign
• Adobe Illustrator
• CorelDraw (or similar tools)

Responsibilities

The Graphic Designer will play a crucial role in the communication efforts of SAQA. Key responsibilities include:

1. Creating Visual Concepts: Assisting in the development of visual concepts that resonate with SAQA’s audience.
2. Design and Production: Supporting the design, production, editing, and post-production of video, audio, and graphic materials for SAQA’s digital platforms.
