About Reddam House Waterfall
Reddam House Waterfall is a co-educational, non-denominational school nestled in a serene, rustic environment. The school’s state-of-the-art facilities and experienced educators create a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere conducive to discovery and learning. Since its inception in 2012, Reddam House Waterfall has grown to accommodate over 1000 students and is designed to eventually serve up to 2000 learners. The Role: Grade 4 Teacher
As a Grade 4 teacher at Reddam House Waterfall, you will play a crucial role in fostering the holistic development of students in your care. You will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment that motivates students to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and Present Lessons: Develop and deliver exciting and informative lessons for all subjects in Grade 4.
- Nurture a Positive Learning Environment: Establish a classroom environment that is supportive and promotes active engagement in learning.
- Professional Conduct: Demonstrate professionalism in punctuality, behavior, and adherence to school standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Reflect on and refine your teaching practices through personal and school-wide professional development.
- Extra Lessons: Conduct extra lessons twice a week or as needed.
- Resource Development: Produce high-quality teaching resources for students.
- Extracurricular Participation: Participate in the school’s extracurricular program, dedicating two afternoons per week.
- School Events: Attend special school events as required by the Head.
- Student Evaluation: Set and mark examinations, and provide constructive feedback through report comments.
- Other Tasks: Undertake any additional tasks as determined by the School Head or line manager.
What Reddam is Looking For

- Adaptability: An adaptable teaching style that incorporates feedback.
- Subject Expertise: In-depth understanding of the relevant subject area.
- Effective Learning Judgement: Ability to assess and enhance learning effectiveness.
- Preparation and Planning: Excellent preparation and planning skills.
- Student Outcomes Assessment: Ability to assess student outcomes and provide feedback to improve performance.
- Student Welfare: Genuine care and attention to student welfare standards.
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience is advantageous.
- IT Proficiency: Confidence in using IT in teaching.
- IEB Programme Experience: Previous experience with the IEB Programme is preferred.
- Qualifications: A university qualification and certified teaching status are required.
