Minimum Requirements
- Education: An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (or higher qualification) in Agriculture with animal science as a major subject.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in agricultural research support.

- Resource Management: Oversee the planning and organization of infrastructure, personnel, and allocated funds.
- Research Support: Facilitate and support research and technology development in animal sciences, particularly in livestock research projects.
- Administration: Manage financial, personnel, asset, and provisioning aspects of the facility.
- Governance: Allocate, control, and report on all resources to ensure effective management and compliance.

- Livestock farming with different species (e.g., sheep, dairy, beef, ostriches).
- Infrastructure requirements for livestock research projects.

Remuneration
- Salary: R 444,036 per annum (Salary level 9)
