Electrical Trade Assistant Details

Main Purpose of the Role
The primary responsibility of the Electrical Trade Assistant is to support qualified electricians in ensuring that all electrical and related equipment operates efficiently, safely, and according to manufacturer specifications and SANS regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work closely with artisans and electricians to:
- Clean, fault-find, repair, and maintain welding machines and various portable electrical tools and appliances.
- Assist in manufacturing a range of electrical gear and equipment.
- Contribute to electrical installations in containers and buildings.
- Support the maintenance and assembly of construction distribution boards (DB Boards).
- Perform additional job-related tasks as and when required.

- A minimum of 1 year’s experience as an Electrician Assistant is advantageous.
