Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience and knowledge in an ICT environment.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting and maintaining computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
- Preferred certifications include ITIL, MSCE, N+, A+, etc., although not mandatory.
- Background or exposure to cybersecurity is beneficial.
Key Accountabilities
- Offer technical assistance to end users concerning hardware, software, and network issues.
- Ensure optimal functionality of network components such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Assist in the setup, maintenance, and administration of servers, including capacity planning.
- Monitor and manage access to the Corporation’s computer systems, servers, and network.
- Utilize automated tools to monitor the health and performance of computer systems, servers, and network.
- Perform backups of critical systems and data, and test disaster recovery plans for business continuity.
- Coordinate with service providers and contractors for cybersecurity, connectivity, and hosting services.
- Regularly patch firmware and software to mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Assist in implementing cybersecurity controls with the Information Security and Governance Analyst.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and changes.
- Administer and support tickets logged on the ICT service desk.
- Provide monthly reports on service desk, computer systems, server, and network performance.
