    Purpose of the Role

    The primary objective of the EBU Sales Consultant is to manage and grow direct and indirect relationships within the telecommunications sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven ability to develop strong client relationships, ensuring their needs are met while delivering tailored solutions. The EBU Sales Consultant will focus on achieving key business objectives and sales targets while acting as a bridge between clients and the company’s internal teams.

    Key Responsibilities

    As an EBU Sales Consultant, the successful candidate will undertake the following responsibilities:

    1. Account Management

    • Cultivate and manage relationships with key accounts.
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
    • Serve as the primary liaison for clients, maintaining regular communication and understanding their evolving needs.

    2. Sales Growth

    • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Cell C’s mobile and fixed products and services.
    • Drive revenue growth by meeting and exceeding sales targets.

    3. Strategic Planning

    • Develop and implement strategic account management plans.
    • Align customer needs with business objectives to create mutually beneficial relationships.

    4. Customer Engagement

    • Act as the main point of contact for key clients, resolving queries, and providing exceptional service.
    • Address client inquiries promptly, ensuring their expectations are not only met but exceeded.

    5. Market Analysis

    • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
    • Identify new business opportunities and areas for improvement, contributing to Cell C’s competitive edge in the market.

    6. Collaboration

    • Work closely with internal departments, such as marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Partner with the Key Account Management and Partner teams to align strategies and achieve collective goals.

    7. Reporting

    • Prepare detailed performance reports on sales activities, client engagement, and market trends.
    • Present insights and updates to senior management, showcasing progress and identifying areas for future growth.

    Additional Duties

    • Adhere to standard operating procedures to ensure consistent service quality.
    • Analyze challenges, take appropriate action, and maintain high standards within SLA timeframes.
    • Ensure complete documentation and verify stock availability before submission to vetting or operations teams.
    • Continuously seek feedback from stakeholders and strive for improved customer service standards.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience

    Qualifications:

    • Matric / Grade 12 is essential.
    • Knowledge of Cell C systems and processes is advantageous.

    Experience:

    • A minimum of five years’ experience in administration, preferably in a fast-paced industry.
    • Experience in the ICT sector, particularly GSM-related functions, is preferred.
