Responsibilities of the Finance Graduate Intern
As a finance graduate intern, you will be involved in various financial tasks, including:
- Reconciling creditor accounts to ensure correct payments
- Capturing invoices accurately into the system
- Following up on outstanding workflows to ensure financial tasks are completed on time
- Reducing invoices that have not been fully received or contain price discrepancies
- Managing supplier and warehouse claims by following up and obtaining necessary credit notes
- Processing financial journals accurately when required
- Preparing creditor reconciliations on a monthly basis
- Submitting accurate payment requests with supporting documents before deadlines
- Ensuring accurate filing of creditor documentation
- Reconciliation of high volumes of accounts on a weekly and monthly basis
- Data capturing on a daily basis to assist in financial processes
