Minimum Requirements
- Educational Background: A 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma/B-Degree or higher) in Information Management, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in technical editing/formatting of publications and electronic filing.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform technical editing and formatting tasks for various Provincial Treasury publications to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications.
- Apply technical editing skills to Provincial Budget publications, enhancing readability, accuracy, and compliance with financial documentation standards.
- Consolidate financial documents and data from different sources to compile comprehensive Provincial Budget publications and reports.
- Work on other Treasury publications, ensuring all data is accurately represented and formatted according to departmental guidelines.
- Handle the technical editing and formatting of municipal budget information and performance assessment reports.
- Contribute to the production of Provincial Treasury municipal publications and working papers by consolidating and formatting data as needed.
- Liaise with departmental finance and planning staff to manage and streamline the flow of budget information.
- Facilitate the exchange of data and documents between different departments, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial information.
- Play a crucial role in information management through coordination and integration with the PT Data Warehouse, covering both Provincial and Local Government data.
- Ensure the accurate and efficient integration of database information, facilitating better data analysis and reporting.
- Apply a keen eye for detail to all technical editing and data collation tasks, ensuring high-quality outputs.
- Perform quality control checks on publications and reports to detect and correct errors in data or formatting.
- Utilize strong cognitive and analytical skills to process and interpret financial data.
- Apply excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in the coordination and dissemination of information.
- Demonstrate proven computer literacy, particularly in MS Office suite, for the efficient handling of data collation, editing, and formatting tasks.
- Be willing to work irregular hours to meet critical deadlines, especially during peak budgeting periods.
- Adapt to varying tasks and responsibilities as required by the dynamic nature of financial documentation and publication demands.
