Submission Requirements
- Application Form: Complete the New Z83 form, effective from 01 January 2021. This form can be obtained from any Public Service Department or online at www.dpsa.gov.za/documents.
- Documents: No copies of qualifications or other documents are required at the time of application. Submit a fully completed, signed Z83 form and a detailed Curriculum Vitae.
- Note: The e-recruitment system automatically generates the Z83 form. If applying through this system, you do not need to sign it initially; signing will be required on the interview day.
Post-Application Process
- Shortlisting: Shortlisted candidates will need to provide certified copies of qualifications and other relevant documents on or before the interview date.
- Foreign Qualifications: Applicants with foreign qualifications must submit an evaluation certificate from the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA) before the interview day. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.

- Background Checks: Successful candidates will undergo personnel suitability checks, including criminal record checks, citizenship verification, financial/asset record checks, qualification verification, and previous employment checks.
- Security Clearance: Selected candidates will be subject to security clearance processes and, where applicable, a skills/knowledge test.
- Probation Period: Successful candidates will be appointed on a 12-month probation period.
