Responsibilities

Customer Segmentation Strategy:

  • Design and implement a customer segmentation strategy using demographic, LSM (Living Standards Measure), and purchase category data.

Data Management:

  • Conduct data mining on the existing customer database to identify missing information and ensure database maintenance for ongoing customer segmentation.

Data Analysis and Insights:

  • Provide in-depth analysis of data to uncover insights into customer behavior, preferences, trends, needs, and concerns, aiming to grow the customer database.
  • Utilize data to enhance the overall customer experience and inform broader business decisions.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain effective customer relationships through personalized messaging tailored to customer segmentation, trends, and preferences.

Targeted Communication and Campaigns:

  • Develop targeted communication and campaigns using data from market research and customer loyalty databases to engage specific audiences effectively.
  • Proactively engage customers through loyalty surveys to design and execute targeted campaigns aimed at boosting loyalty and driving repeat purchases.

Marketing Optimization:

  • Utilize data analysis to optimize marketing campaigns and product development, aligning insights with market research reports.

Strategic Advice and Campaign Management:

  • Provide strategic advice on promotional activities to maximize customer engagement and capitalize on emerging trends.
  • Optimize data analysis to influence and enhance the omnichannel customer journey.

Campaign Assessment and Reporting:

  • Present analysis reports and recommendations on campaign assessments to the Marketing Manager, ensuring alignment with overall marketing and business strategy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver customer insights and analytics, ensuring alignment between Business Intelligence and Marketing departments.

System Management and Compliance:

  • Collaborate with the Business Intelligence department to improve system usage and troubleshoot user or software errors affecting customer interaction efficiency.
  • Establish data entry workflows and standards, ensuring compliance with data storage, access, and analysis requirements.
  • Stay updated with competitor activity and industry trends to inform campaign strategies and customer information management.

Training and Support:

  • Provide subject matter expertise in system functionality and utilization, contributing to training material development and employee upskilling.
  • Work closely with the Service Desk to address customer complaints promptly and efficiently, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation such as PoPI (Protection of Personal Information Act) and CPA (Consumer Protection Act).
  • Support data warehousing and data security requirements of the Business Intelligence department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Systems, Business Intelligence, Economics, Finance, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in tools such as PowerBI, Microsoft Dynamics, Click Dimensions, or equivalent CRM and analytics platforms.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry required.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in beauty and fashion industry preferred.
  • Proven track record in similar roles demonstrating successful application of research, customer segmentation, profiling, and trend analysis.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in data analysis within marketing and/or sales environments required.
