Key Responsibilities
As a Creative Assistant, you will work closely with the Creative Manager to bring the Weylandts brand vision to life through stunning in-store displays and installations. Your main duties will include:
1. In-Store Styling & Visual Merchandising
- Assist in the design and setup of in-store homeware and furniture installations
- Use SketchUp, AutoCAD, or Revit to create 2D and 3D models of display concepts
- Ensure brand consistency in all visual merchandising projects
2. Sourcing & Procurement
- Source props, materials, and accessories to enhance store displays
- Manage the sourcing, costing, and delivery of props and materials
- Work with suppliers to obtain quotations and manage procurement efficiently
3. Styling Guide & Lookbook Development
- Help develop styling guides to maintain a consistent in-store aesthetic
- Contribute to the creation of the Homeware Lookbook, ensuring a cohesive brand image
4. Administrative & Workshop Support
- Assist in coordinating workshops for visual merchandisers
- Handle documentation, quotations, and administrative tasks related to styling projects
- Provide general support to the Creative Manager in day-to-day operations
Qualifications & Experience
To qualify for this exciting role, you should have:
- A Diploma in Interior Décor, Retail, Fashion, or Design
- 2-3 years of experience in visual merchandising, retail design, or a related field
- Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, or Revit (preferred)
- A strong passion for retail and interior styling
