Key Responsibilities
As a Cleaner at Cure Day Hospitals, you will be entrusted with ensuring that all allocated areas of the hospital are impeccably clean and safe. Your primary responsibilities include:
- General Cleaning: Maintaining cleanliness across the hospital according to the assigned schedule.
- Special Projects: Undertaking tasks such as floor stripping and sealing as required.
- Health and Safety: Participating in safety checks and promptly reporting any faults to management.
- Regulatory Compliance: Adhering to health, safety, and infection control protocols established by the Hospital Manager.
Minimum Requirements
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Qualifications:
- Minimum Grade 8 or an equivalent qualification.
Experience:
- Previous hospital cleaning experience is mandatory.
- Experience in cleaning operating theatre facilities is a major advantage.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Proficient in using buff machines and performing floor maintenance.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and infection control practices specific to healthcare environments.
- Ability to consistently meet high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to work shifts as required by the hospital unit.
- Accountability and reliability in all work responsibilities.
- Traceable references.
