    Key Job Responsibilities

    • Daily Cleaning: Ensure all assigned areas, including venues, offices, rooms, kitchens, hallways, and stairs, are cleaned daily to uphold a hygienic environment.
    • Carpet Maintenance: Vacuum carpeted areas regularly and perform spot cleaning as needed to maintain cleanliness.
    • Surface Cleaning: Dust, damp wipe, wash, or polish furniture, ledges, windowsills, and external surfaces of cupboards and shelves to remove dirt and maintain a tidy appearance.
    • Floor Care: Sweep and mop floors to ensure they are free from dust and spills.
    • Kitchen Duties: Wash dishes, replenish kitchen supplies, and clean refrigerators to maintain a sanitary kitchen environment.
    • Waste Management: Empty waste bins and transport waste to designated disposal areas promptly.
    • Restroom Sanitation: Clean toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks, and showers to ensure hygienic restroom facilities.
    • Stock Replenishment: Replenish consumable items such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels, ensuring that stock is always available.
    • Event Setup: Assist in setting up tables, chairs, and equipment for events as needed.
    • Health and Safety Compliance: Follow health and safety regulations and use cleaning chemicals as directed.
    • Reporting: Report any deficiencies or maintenance needs to the Coordinator.

    Minimum Requirements & Key Competencies

    • Educational Qualification: Grade 10 certificate is required; a Grade 12 certificate is desirable.
    • Training: 1-2 months of on-the-job training will be provided.
    • Knowledge:
      • Understanding of health and safety regulations.
      • Familiarity with cleaning machinery, materials, and chemicals.
      • Ability to clean high windows and apply various cleaning procedures (e.g., waxing).
