    • Adjust claims based on the Sasria policy cover
    • Ensure that necessary documents are received to support the claim and verify quantum calculations
    • Maintain and update documents on the IMS system
    • Keep track of outstanding proof of quantum and update reserves as per policy
    • Exercise judgment in analyzing claim exposure and determining the best course of action
    • Approve claims within delegated authority after verifying all necessary documents
    • Escalate complex claims to supervisors for further evaluation
    • Ensure that claims are processed in compliance with short-term insurance regulations
    • Update notes regularly on the system to reflect the current status of claims
    • Communicate with the underwriting department to identify gaps in cover or missing documents
    • Handle customer inquiries efficiently and provide professional customer service

    2. Agency and Broker Liaison

    Throughout the program, learners will also be involved in liaising with insurance agents and brokers to ensure smooth claims processing. Responsibilities in this area include:
