About the Role
As a Customer Service Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless flow of information between stores and the distribution centre. Your primary responsibility will be managing store orders, resolving queries, and maintaining operational efficiency within the DC.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Management: Efficiently manage and coordinate all store orders, including Jab orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Communication: Maintain daily communication with store managers and regional teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Help Desk Support: Handle and resolve help desk queries promptly and professionally to uphold Boxer’s customer service standards.
- Pallet Control: Implement and oversee pallet control procedures to optimize distribution efficiency.
This role requires a proactive approach, ensuring that stores are consistently informed about their order statuses and estimated time of arrivals (ETAs). Resolving store queries professionally and quickly is key to maintaining Boxer’s reputation for excellent service.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualifications:
- Matric (Essential)
- A Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain (Advantageous)
- Experience:
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in warehousing or a similar environment.
- Skills and Attributes:
- Proficiency in computer systems and relevant software.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
