Position Requirements

  • Qualification: Bachelor of Pharmacy degree accredited by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) required for registration.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years of relevant post-registration experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

As the Assistant Manager Pharmaceutical Services, you will be responsible for:

  • Role Management: Acting as the responsible pharmacist.
  • Financial Management: Handling financial, budget, and expenditure management.
  • HR Management: Overseeing HR and HRD management of pharmaceutical systems.
  • Operational Efficiency: Ensuring efficient operations management, including medicine supply, IT, and infrastructure.
  • Strategic Direction: Providing strategic direction to the pharmacy.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring quality pharmaceutical services in line with Batho Pele principles and ministerial priorities.
  • Compliance: Ensuring compliance with the ideal hospital framework and National Health Insurance (NHI) regulations.
