- Bachelor of Marine Engineering
- Bachelor of Nautical Science
- Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch (Desk Officer)
Coverage and Benefits
- Primary Coverage: Tuition fees
- Additional Coverage: Potentially includes textbooks and residence accommodation (subject to fund availability and individual circumstances)
- Student Responsibility: Registration fees are not covered
- Post-Graduation: Employment with AMSOL may be required, based on company needs
Selection Process
- Notification: Shortlisted candidates will be contacted within 2 months of the closing date. If no feedback is received, the application should be considered unsuccessful.
Eligibility Requirements
- Citizenship: South African
- Education:
- Completed or currently in Matric
- Minimum of 60% (Level 5) in English, Mathematics, and Physical Science in Matric
- Study Requirements:
- Must be studying or planning to study one of the specified qualifications in 2025
- Must be enrolled or plan to enroll at a recognized university or SAMSA-accredited training facility
- Bursary Restrictions: Must not have any other bursary funding for the 2025 academic year
