    Key Responsibilities

    As an Administration Officer in Supply Chain Management, you will play an integral role in ensuring compliance with supply chain processes, particularly concerning tenders. Your primary duties will include:

    1. Assisting with the Request for Quotation/Tender process.
    2. Supporting the creation and management of terms of reference and conducting site inspections/briefings.
    3. Facilitating the Request for Quotation/Tender evaluation process.
    4. Generating purchase orders and processing invoices.
    5. Managing governance, risk, and compliance matters related to supply chain management.

    Minimum Requirements

    Qualifications

    1. A National Diploma in Supply Chain Management or an equivalent qualification at NQF Level 6 with 4 years of relevant work experience.
    2. Alternatively, a Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent qualification at NQF Level 7 with 2 years of relevant experience.
    3. A postgraduate qualification (NQF Level 8) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field will be an added advantage.

    Key Competencies

    • Strong knowledge of legislation, policies, and practices related to supply chain management.
    • Familiarity with the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Treasury Regulations, and Generally Recognized Accounting Practices (GRAP).
    • Advanced skills in planning, organizing, and problem-solving.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in software tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
    • Valid driver’s license with a minimum of one year of practical driving experience.
