Both positions offer a competitive salary range of R228,321.00 per annum at Salary Level 5 (SL5). Successful candidates will be responsible for administrative tasks at the campuses, contributing to the efficient running of student registrations, updating student information, and assisting with various duties that support the academic environment.
Requirements for Admin Clerk Vacancies
Candidates applying for the Admin Clerk vacancies at Ehlanzeni TVET College must meet the following qualifications and skills:
- Educational Requirements:
- Grade 12/NCV Level 4 in Office Administration, with an N6 certificate in Office Administration/Management, Assistant/Administration/Public Management, or any other related qualification.
- Experience:
- At least 1-year experience in administration.
- Knowledge of the ITS system will be an advantage.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide range of people.
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and an ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
- Excellent customer service and client orientation.
- Ability to think, plan, and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other basic computer programs.
Key Competencies
- Ability to capture and file student registration forms for easy retrieval during verification and audits.
- Ensuring accurate and updated student information on the institution’s management system.
- Efficient capture of student attendance on the ITS system.
- Verification of examination enrolments, managing the issuing of results, certificates, permits, and diplomas.
- Responding promptly to student inquiries and handling related administrative tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidates for the Admin Clerk vacancies at Ehlanzeni TVET College will be expected to carry out the following duties:
- Capturing and Filing:
- Capture student registration forms and file them for easy retrieval during verification and audit.
- Updating Student Information:
- Regularly update student information in the institution’s information management system.
- Attendance Management:
- Ensure the accurate capture of ICASS/ISAT and attendance on the ITS system.
- Examination Enrolments:
- Verification of examination enrolments at campus level. This includes the management of results, certificates, permits, and the issuing of diplomas.
- Student Enquiries:
- Attend to student queries and provide statistical information to the campus regarding student data, certification, and retention rates.
- Data Management:
- Responsible for the distribution, collection, dispatching, and safekeeping of exam materials.
- Other Duties:
- Any other administrative duties as assigned by the supervisors.
