    Key Requirements:

    • A qualification at NQF Level 6 in Financial Management, Financial Accounting, Taxation, or Internal Audit recognized by SAQA.
    • At least 3 years of experience in a payroll environment.
    • Knowledge of the Public Financial Management Act and National Treasury budget management regulations.
    • Computer skills, especially MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
    • Strong skills in budgeting, financial management, research, presentation, and problem-solving.
    • Ability to work well in a team and manage time effectively.

    Main Duties:

    • Render tax administration services within the department.
    • Manage salary-related claims like overtime, acting allowances, housing allowances, and long service awards.
    • Process travel allowance claims and service termination transactions.
    • Reconcile and clear suspense accounts.
    • Provide effective people management and leadership.
